ART & CRAFT
There is no doubt that arts and crafts are fun activities for kids. Be it colouring with crayons or miniature statue from clay, folding paper to create origami or designing a handmade birthday card. There are several arts and crafts, which can enhance the interest of the children & exploit their artistic potential.
By introducing arts & crafts to the kids and involving them in such activities in school Shri Balasaheb Wani central School & Jr. College is investing in building their cognitive, Physical & social development.
COOKERY CLUB
What better way to get the kids involved in making dinner than to inspire them and get involved with a cookery club. Cooking clubs can be set up in almost any environment with a few essential items; even cooking without an oven is possible, so why not think about starting a cooking club for children.
With cooking an essential skill in life the earlier kids start to learn about how to cook the better. Teachers or parents can run a cookery club and have huge amounts of fun creating masterpieces!
ECO CLUB
(ENVIRONMENT CLUB)
Eco clubs in our school empowers students to participate and take up meaningful environmental activities and projects. The objectives of this Club are:
To keep our School Campus clean, To create awareness among public about, Environmental Degradation, Pollution Control, Planting more trees, Preserving Natural Resources, Creating awareness through Debate and Speech, Such objectives of our club are undertaken by our members through the main motto “Reduce, Recycle, Reuse’ is taken to the public on “World Environment Day every year.
To promote their responsibilities towards preserving Nature, Competitions in the form of Quiz, Essay writing and Seminars are conducted.
PUBLIC SPEAKING
Public Speaking Club represents an opportunity to learn and develop presentation skills through education, hands-on practice, and constructive feedback.
- Improves communication skills in a structured, supportive and enjoyable environment.
- Removes the fear of public speaking.

SKATING
The club provides an opportunity to students interested in learning and improving skating skills. This club is the most popular club in the school and it’s student members have participated at district and state level championship and has brought laurels to the school The activities organised in the club are boarding,and speed skating.
Music
Music is an extremely critical subject at schools as it leads to better brain development, increases human connection, improves grades, helps to socialise, and even lowers stress levels.
Focus on music today to empower students in defining their tomorrow, music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life. Research has proven that students’ success in life is tied closely not just to the pursuit of academic excellence but to their all-round development. This includes honing a well-rounded personality with an appreciation for arts, crafts, sports, and music.
Taekwondo
Taekwondo is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts, that teaches more than physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind.
It can be seen that the study of Taekwondo is recommended for men, women and children. It may provide benefits in organization, vision, body development, and mental awareness. The goal of this martial art is to give a sense of self-esteem, knowledge of self-defence, heightened mental and physical wellbeing.
